There really is no contest when it comes to market knowledge, efficiency and ease of sale. The Bahl team is the only choice. Upon first meeting Akshay, I quickly realized that I had exactly the kind of realtor I needed on my side to help me make the largest investment of my life—informative, hardworking and equipped with phenomenal negotiation skills. From the onset, Akshay took the time to determine what I was looking for, what my price range was, the area I was looking to buy in, and most importantly, what the purchase of my new home would mean for me financially. He provided me with names of his previous clients I could contact for reference, up-to-date market analyses of specific areas I was interested in buying, comparable units sold within the area and what I should expect to pay, as well as items that I should not compromise on (i.e. a parking spot).
What I truly appreciated about Akshay was he always went out of his way to make sure I was well informed, respected my purchase price range, was always available/responsive, ensured I did not feel disappointed when a desired unit was purchased, and put me in contact with legal representation. Most importantly, Akshay also took the time to meet my parents and make them feel a part of the purchasing process. Neve was an absolute pleasure to work with! As a first time home buyer, she provided me with valuable information throughout the process of purchasing my condo. Initially, I wasn't sure that I wanted to work with a realtor, but she sat me down for a no-obligation meeting and explained how everything worked and gave me a little insight as to how she could assist me and ensure that I got exactly what I was looking for and for a reasonable price. She kept in close contact with me throughout the process and kept me very informed of the market and its trends. We searched together and whenever I saw something of interest or she found something, she was prompt in setting up appointments to get in and see the units. On many occasions, she would travel the distance and meet me to see just one unit. She was always very bubbly and showed a great deal of enthusiasm. Once I did find a unit and wanted to put in an offer, despite the fact that she had a prior engagement, she acknowledged the importance of her presence and cancelled to meet with me and present the offer personally. It was nice to know as well, that if she couldn't be present for something, she had a team that she could count on to help her out. Not only was Neve a fabulous realtor for me, she was a good friend at the same time. When we would meet for showings, we wouldn't strictly talk about real estate stuff, we also got to know each other on a more personal level, wherein she would notice if I wasn't myself some days and would ask if everything was alright. That meant a lot knowing that she didn't have to care, but she did. I would absolutely 100% recommend Neve to anyone looking for a friendly, caring, knowledgeable real estate agent.

Neve and Sundeep have been fantastic agents, from the initial phone call I received from Neve, to the acceptance of the buyer's offer. They've done a wonderful job of outlining all the issues and details to watch out for, and have been patient and professional throughout the process. Most of all, they lived up to their promise of watching out for the owner's best interest. Some agents will suggest a low asking price to simply complete the transaction as quickly as possible and to move on with the next deal. Neve and Sundeep were not only willing to list my property at my initial valuation assigned, but also managed to receive an offer at my ask within days of the MLS listing being posted. I would recommend Neve and Sundeep to anybody who's looking to sell their downtown condo, both privately and through an agent.

I should preface this by saying that I'm inherently distrustful of salespeople of all stripes. Before I met Akshay, I'd been working with an agent for about 15 months; I thought she was good because she was very hands off, and we only interacted when I called her. When I met Aksahy to look at a place that he ahd listed, I qucikly realised that I hadn't been working with an agent, I was working with a chaperone to see properties, while I was doing all the work. After less than 3 months of me being a very picky shopper, we found a unit...it was perfect for my needs as it came with an established tenant who would continue to rent until I was ready to move in. Akshay is a great agent and I'd recommend him to anyone. He's like a really good personal trainer at the gym; knows just when to push so that you don't miss out on a great opportunity, and when to go easy if it's not the right fit. I was so impressed with his knowledge of the Toronto market that I've actually recently bought a second property with my parents as an investment property. The other great thing about Akshay's team is a lot of people list their properties with them. A LOT. So as a buying client of that team, you get first dibs on those properties, before it goes on the MLS feeding frenzy. Both of my sales were actually in-house properties.
